Happy Feet

I always like to give a little color to my work outfits, sometimes I find myself in an all black wardrobe for too many days in a row and it makes me crazy. I like to show some of my own personality in my outfits, especially at work because it can be a bit boring and habitual.

These fun orange socks were the perfect mood enhancer for me, it’s interesting how sometimes what you wear can affect how you feel.  Hope you all have a great weekend? Any plans?

Decisions Decisions

That hair! It’s making me crazy. I’m in “transition” faced with deciding of what to do with my hair, cut , grow or color, I can’t seem to decide, and the fact that a haircut puts a dent in my pocket has made it more difficult to come to a conclusion.  Plus, a cut requires an entire day of being in the city (not that I’m complaining) but it’s become a chore for me & I hate that. The last time I cut it was in July… yeah. I know someone is going to be a bit irked when I pay him a visit soon.

Do you ever change up your hairstyle for summer?

D'orsay Flats

D'orsay Flats
1.Metallic Gold $50 2.Navy $20 3.Sam Edelman "Silver" $110 4.Asos Orange Ballet Flats$53 5.Target Two-Tone $28 6.Old Navy Python $28 7.Aldo Nydellan $65 8.Report "Simba" $40 9.Forever 21 Sleek Black $20

I’ve come to terms with the fact that I love flats. I feel the most comfortable when I have a chic pair of flats, especially at work and since today is the first day of spring I thought I’d share a few of my favorite D’orsay flats. These are the perfect mix between a sandal and a flat and they look great with just about anything. I found a ton of pairs that were budget friendly, prices range from $20-$110. I usually get a lot of wear from my flats, I've had to replace my calf-hair cheetah pair twice because they were beginning to look a little too sketchy.  I really love the python printed pair, I guess I have a thing for animal prints. what about you? Which pair is your fav?

Oscar Best Dressed 2014

I’m so exhausted today, partly because it’s Monday and because I stayed up watching the Oscars last night so I had to play catch-up when they were over.  So, I have to share my personal Best Dressed women of the night. I narrowed it down to five to keep it light.
Side Notes: I hope J-Law’s Dior contract is up soon, I want to see her in something different. I really was entertained by Ellen, she is quite the funny lady. Jared Leto stole my heart... again. Lupita Nyong'o killed her speech and now more than ever I'm convinced that her and Jared Leto are soul mates.
If you follow me on Twitter you'd know that I predicted Navy and Neutral tones:)

1. Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen : Timeless, elegant, & gorgeous.

2. Emma Watson in Vera Wang: I love this dress, it's young and fresh.
3. Charlize Theron in Dior: Those floating straps and simple jewelry were the perfect pair

4. Olivia Wilde in  Maison Valentino: I know dressing the bump is hard and this sleek B&W gown slayed.

5. Camila Alves was pretty in pink wearing  Gabriela Cadena . The light pink was perfect for such a beautiful gown.
