RED-Y for a comeback

I told you the red pants were making a comeback! I went to watch Skyfall with my BF and I must say I was impressed. The entire film was put together so well but the wardrobes were amazing and just fabulous. I can't even explain it you MUST go watch it. 

P.s I just started drooling again thinking about Daniel Craig in his underwear (turns out I'm attracted to secret agents in well tailored suits, who knew?)

Te dije que los pantalones rojos estaban haciendo una reaparición! Fui a ver Skyfall con mi novio y tengo que decir les que me quedé impresionada. Toda la película se elaboró tan bien, pero el vestuario era increíble y fabuloso. Ni siquiera puedo explicarlo tienen que ir a verla.

P.s empeze a babear otra vez pensando en Daniel Craig en su ropa interior (resulta que me siento atraída por agentes secretos con trajes , así que sabía?)

Berry Picky

One thing I’m very thankful for and i sometimes take for granted is the fact that I work at a very casual law firm. Although I do like to dress professionally it takes that pressure away that I have to. I used to work at a extremely conservative bank so I know what that feels like, we had to wear stockings everyday even when we wore pants(not fun). I especially love casual Friday but who doesn't? I wore this to the office, I’m always the girl wearing bright colors and bold prints at work but I think I liven up the place ;) CONFESSION ALERT: I actually had on loafers during work hours and switched into the heels at happy hour.

Una cosa  de que estoy muy agradecida y que a veces doy por hecho es que trabajo en un bufete de abogados muy casual. Aunque me gusta vestir profesionalmente toma la presión fuera de que tengo que hacerlo. Yo trabajaba en un banco muy conservador, así que sé lo que se siente, tuvimos que usar medias todos los días, incluso cuando usaba pantalones (no es divertido). En especial me encantan viernes casual pero a ¿quién no? Me puse esto a la oficina, siempre soy la chica vistiendo de colores brillantes y estampados llamativos en el trabajo, pero creo que le da vida a la officina ;) CONFESIÓN: En realidad tenía mocasines durante las horas de trabajo y me cambie a tacones en la hora feliz .

I must admit this one of my favorite outfits. I love the soft feminine elements from the floral skirt paired with the edgy booties and the military inspired vest. They complement each other in a distinctive way.

Cheetah & Color

I bought this pair of red denim jeans some time ago. I put them away and never looked back. I came across them the other day and I reminded myself how much money I don’t have and how I need to utilize each and every item in my closet to its fullest potential. So I took them & passed them quickly besides my blouses and came up with an unexpected yet fresh match. What do you guys think? Do you ever mix and match the same clothes?

P.s “Keep an eye out for the red pants this won’ t be the last you see of them” -says my wallet.

Compré este par de jeans rojos hace algún tiempo. Los puse en el armario  y nunca mire hacia atrás. Me topé con ellos el otro día y me recordé a mí misma cuánto dinero no tengo y cómo tengo que utilizar cada artículo en mi armario a su máximo potencial. Los pasee de forma rápida además de mis blusas y se me ocurrió un look inesperado pero fresco. ¿Qué piensan ustedes? ¿Ustedes mesclan y combinan las la misma ropa?

First and foremost let me begin by expressing my profound love for hats and all things head wear.  I specifically remember a white spring hat with a pink ribbon bow around it that my mom had given me as a little girl. I loved that hat, I felt so elegant when I wore it. I even pretended to be a little snotty rich girl. Sadly it was the only hat she ever bought me and it wasn't long before I lost it (typical me). Now that I’m a “grown-up” I love seeing people wearing hats. I remember being captivated  by the  Royal Wedding coverage and thinking to myself  how amazing it would be to asks guests attending  my (imaginary)wedding to wear a head piece.  Presently I own a handful of hats that very seldom see the outside of my closet but that is going to change because I have made it a priority to get them this winter. En primer lugar permítanme con  comenzar expresando mi profundo amor por los sombreros y gorras. Recuerdo específicamente un sombrero de primavera blanca con un lazo rosa alrededor de ella, que mi madre me había dado cuando era niña. Me encantó ese sombrero, me sentí tan elegante cuando me lo puse. Incluso me hice pasar por una niña rica. Por desgracia, era el sombrero único que mi mama me compró y no pasó mucho tiempo antes de que lo perdí (típica yo). Ahora que soy un "adulta" me encanta ver a la gente con sombreros. Recuerdo haber sida cautivada por la cobertura de la boda royal pensé a mi misma lo increíble que sería pregunta invitados que asistieron a mi boda  (imaginaria) que llevaran una pieza de cabeza. Actualmente tengo un puñado de sombreros que casi nunca  ven fuera de mi armario, pero eso va a cambiar porque  he establecido como prioridad usar los este invierno. Mientras tanto, aquí están algunas de mis selecciones favoritas de menos de $ 50!
