H&M Summer 2012

H&M has taken the runway and is bringing it to a store near you. The images below are that of Frida Gustavassen modeling the H&M Summer 2012 Collection. The collection revisits 50’s couture with faltering silhouettes and peplum tops combined with a sporty influence that can be seen with the jackets and shorts. The entire collection is stunning. The colors are elegant and rich. I can’t wait to see it in person. I hope that the collection looks the same in person. From time to time the computer can be deceiving. What do you guys think? Any favorites??

Las imágenes a continuación son  de Frida Gustavassen modelando la colección  de H & M  de Verano 2012.La colección de alta costura vuelve a los 50’s, con siluetas vacilantes y las tapas peplum combinadas con una influencia deportiva que se puede ver con las chaquetas y pantalones cortos. Toda la colección es impresionante. Los colores son elegantes y ricos. No puedo esperar a verla en persona. Espero que la colección se vea igual en persona. De vez en cuando la compu puede engañar. ¿Qué piensan ustedes? Algún favorito?

Weekly Recap

Hey everyone, how was everyone’s week? Mine was good I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. Sunday's are my relaxing day I usually hang out at home and clean, do homework and plan for the upcoming week. Today was a little different my bf (49er fan) wanted to watch the game so at the last minute we decided to host it. Nothing major just family, chicken wings & pizza, hey I couldn't ask for more. I had to set everything up & had nothing. Since we bought this house in July we have not had any get together s not even a house warming party. Actually I'm terrified at the idea of having a party at my house. I think the thought of cleaning scares me that much that I don’t want people to come over. Kind of sad but I hate cleaning. Ne way so since I had never hosted anything I had nothing to host with. So I ran around like a crazy woman getting all the stuff.  Everyone came and had a good time. After that I didn't get anything done. Oh well once in a while it doesn't hurt to hang out. The good thing is I made time to blog & today I wanted to share with you guys my weekly purchases for this past week I feel like I got some good deals and that are worth sharing... I think ne way

Hola a todos, ¿cómo fue la semana de todo el mundo? La mía fue buena  no estoy listo para volver al trabajo mañana. El domingo es mi día de descanso paso el rato en casa y limpiar, hacer la tarea y el plan para la semana próxima. Hoy ha sido un poco diferente a mi novio (que es 49er fan) quería ver el partido de hoy, así en el último momento se decidió que en nuestra casa lo miraríamos. Nada grande solo la familia, alitas de pollo y pizza. Hey no se puede pedir más, pero eso significaba que tenía que preparar todo. Desde que compramos esta casa en Julio no hemos tenido ningún reúnen  ni siquiera una bienvenida a casa. En realidad, estoy aterrada ante la idea de tener una fiesta en mi casa. Creo que la idea de la limpieza me asusta mucho... Un poco triste pero yo odio limpiar. Así que salí corriendo por ahí como una loca conseguir todas las cosas. Todos vinieron, y tuvimos un buen tiempo. Después no logre hacer nada. Oh, bueno de vez en cuando no viene mal para pasar el rato. Lo bueno es que hice el tiempo para el blog y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mis compras semanales de la semana pasada, siento que me dieron algunas buenas ofertas y que merece la pena compartir ... Creo yo.

Super Stripes

What's up people of the blogger world??? Ah how I’ve missed posting. Life is going 120 mph right now. I’ve been trying to better manage my time to fit in all my priorities, but between working full time, going to school, being a mother, & working out (which is now a priority) I haven’t had much time to do anything else. Sunday I opted to get dressed and take pictures rather than clean my house and here they are. I like this fun outfit because the bold B&W striped shirt  and the purple shorts just mix well. I also added a bubble gum lip color from NYX that added an even more fun accent plus wherever I see a bow I see pink.  I was super excited because the sun was out but when I started taking pictures the wind was insane and it was soo cold, hence the sort of awkwardness. Besides that hope you enjoy.   

¿Hola gente de el mundo de Blogger??? Ah cómo he extrañado escribir aquí. La vida va ahora 120 mph. He intentando administrar mejor mi tiempo para encajar  todas mis prioridades, pero entre el trabajo, ir a la escuela, ser madre, e ir al gimnasio  (que es ahora una prioridad) no he tenido mucho tiempo para hacer otra cosa. El domingo  opte por  para  vestir me  y tomar fotografías, en lugar de limpiar mi casa y aquí están. Me gusta este divertido traje las rayas audaces en blanco y negro y los shorts morados  mezclan bien. También agregué un color de labios de chicle de NYX que agrega un incluso más divertido acento. Estaba súper feliz  porque el sol estaba fuera pero cuando empecé a tomar fotografías el viento estaba fuerte y tan frío se nota en las fotos. Además  espero que disfruten.

Hooray for Target collabs!

Okay okay okay I know I’m super late to post this but whatever I am still going to because it’s something that I’m really excited about! Jason Wu for Target. I love Target collaborations. I was very lucky to have gotten all the items on my wish list from Missoni for Target considering all the horror stories I read. Part of my luck is that I live in a small city where nobody knows or cares about Target collabs to the point where Missoni stuff was on the clearance rack a few weeks later!!! Yes, isn’t that crazy? Well that totally works in my favor. So the official look book was released last week I believe from target and I must say I am really excited. The whole collection is so feminine and classy with a European edge. It has floral prints, pleats, bows, & lace need I say more? My favorite item is this flared white dress with black lace under. I love it! It’s so pretty and I love the belt at the waist it gives such a feminine silhouette. This dress is only $59.99 and I believe it’s one of if not the most expensive item in the collection and I think it’s also only going to be available online, boo. What do you guys think? Are you buying anything from this collection?

Bien bien bien sé que soy súper tarde a este post pero lo todavía voy a hacerlo porque es algo que realmente me emociona! Jason Wu para Target. Me encanta colaboraciones de Target. Fui muy afortunada de haber sacado todos los artículos en mi lista de deseos de Missoni para Target teniendo en cuenta todas las historias de horror que he leído. Parte de mi suerte es que vivo en una pequeña ciudad donde nadie sabe ni se preocupa de colaboraciones de Target hasta el punto donde las cosas de Missoni estaban a ofertas unas semanas más tarde!!!! ¿Sí, no es ese loco?  Funciona totalmente en mi favor. La colección completa fue  lanzado la semana pasada por Target y debo decir que estoy realmente emocionada. Toda la colección es tan femenina y elegante con un toque europeo. ¿Tiene estampados florales, pliegues, arcos y encajes, necesito decir más? Mi artículo favorito es este quemado vestido blanco con encaje negro abajo. ¡Me encanta! Es tan bonito y me encanta el cinto en la cintura da tal una silueta femenina. Este vestido es sólo $59.99 y creo es uno de los si no el articulo más caro de la colección y creo que también es sólo va a estar disponible por internet. Que Piensan ustedes sobre esta colección? Van a comprar algo de la colección?

So good I have to share

So our blog is not by any means a cooking blog but this deslishiness had to be shared!  I just recently moved out on my own for the first time (well technically second but that’s a another story) and I’m adjusting to living alone & by alone I mean without my mom gosh she did a lot of stuff for me. To be honest I’m having a hard time adjusting to the whole cooking, cleaning, laundry thing but truth be told I’m getting better at it each day. I had to take up cooking quick though unless I wanted to end up broke & overweight especially considering the fact I like eating out every day. You know how there’s those people that say they get sick of eating out? Yeah, I’m not one of them, it wasn’t long before my cash was getting low and my pants started to fit tight. So I did what any other sensible human would do, I googled recipes. Got on the internet and started finding all these amazing recipes and so on now I cook 3-4 times a week because my mother in law is amazing and we have dinner over there the rest of the week.  Ne who while I was on my craze recipe searching escapade’s the other night I came across a page that took me to a page that lead me to http://theitaliandishblog.com/ where i found  this amazing quick little decadent deserty pastry thingy :) it consists of four ingredients some that I bet you probably have right now in your kitchen. Well at least I did & I hardly have anything, or so that’s what my sisters say when they come over and open my pantry. Basically it’s a stuffed puff pastry with Nutella, a slice of bananas (every time I spell that I sing the Gwen Stefani song in my head) and I added crushed walnuts but I guess you can really put anything you want on them. I saw another one that had chocolate & marshmallows. The thing is that they are so easy to make and that seriously taste like heaven. They are small so they’re perfect when you just want something sweet. My boyfriend and my son loved them. Clean up was easy so I guess I will probably make these again soon. Well here are the steps if you ever try it let me know, enjoy.



All you need is puff pastry, Nutella, walnuts, & Bananas




Put a little flour on the counter, unfold the dough and cut it into 9 squares




Add a spoonful of Nutella to each square




Then add sliced banana and crushed walnuts



To fold them you grab opposite corner and bring them to the center




Put them in a cookie sheet with wax paper and bake for 15 min, at 400 degrees




Yumm look at that, and see how they are just the perfect size.

NYE 2011

Hey everyone, How is the new year treating all of you? I'm still trying to recover from NYE I stayed up really late (which surprisingly I never do...ever!) and I was so lazy on Sunday. My boyfriend was super nice enough to grant my request of driving an hour and a half to The Boiling Crab a super delicious like cajun seafood restaurant in San Jose, We gathered our posse and went on our way. We got there and the food was sooo amazing, Crab & shrimp seasoned to perfection in a spicy cajun, buttery, garlic sauce Mmm... Just writing about it is making my mouth water i better stop since it's almost midnight and not a good time to raid the fridge. Ne way It was the perfect first dinner of the New Year. By the time we drove there, ate, & drove back I was beyond exhausted and maybe the fact that I probably ate over a pound of crab and another pound of shrimp (okay okay & fries and corn on the cob) alone also had something with me wanting to get home and crawl into bed. With that said I wasn't able to post this right on 01/01/2011 which is when I really wanted too, but here it is. 

My New Years Eve was fantastic. One of my aunts had a small gathering at her house & when i was there i really understood the meaning of that saying  "It's not the quantity is the quality"  because even though the gathering was small a& their wasn't tons of people, that room to me was filled with the only people that i would want to share such a great moment with. We had a grand time, we ate, drank, shared stories about the past year, and most importantly we shared our aspirations for the new year. I wouldn't change anything about my night. It was perfect. Now I'm really looking forward to an amazing new year. I'm still perfecting my New Year Resolution list which i take very serious by the way, and once I am done I'll share it with you guys. In the mean time enjoy the pictures.
